·         4-H & FFA Fair Entries due

Late Entry fee is $25

No Pullorum Testing 2023

 

            Friday July 19, 2024

·         Final day to enter open class entries and be entered in a special drawing. Entries will be accepted on Monday July 29, 2024, however but pre entry is encouraged.

 

Saturday-July 27, 2024

·         8:30 a.m.  4-H Pre-fair judging at Community Building

(clothing, visual arts, fiber arts, photography)

·         9:00 a.m. -Geology judging at County Annex

·         9:00 a.m.- Fashion Revue at the Community Building

·         10: 00 a.m.- Fashion Revue call backs

·         12:00 p.m.- Work day and setup the Community Building, Quonset Hut and Livestock barns

·         7:00 p.m. Tractor Pull

·         7:30 a.m.  Check for Horse Show

·         8:00 a.m. – Horse Show

  

Monday July 29, 2024

·         1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.  Enter Open class foods-Judging at will be Tuesday at 9:00 a.m.

·         1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. Enter & conference judging of all 4-H Foods

o   1:00p.m. -2:00p.m. - Star Shooting and Cherry Mound

o   2:00p.m. – 3:00p.m. - Lucky 13

o   3:00p.m. – 4:00p.m. - Seekers Not Slackers 

·         1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Enter all 4-H & Open Class Exhibits (Open class foods entry ends at 3:00 p.m. and 4-H judging ends at 4:00 p.m.

·         5:00p.m. – 7:00p.m. - 4-H Foods Bake Sale

·         5:30p.m.- Judging of all Horticulture and Floriculture

·         5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. – Enter all 4-H and Open Class Poultry and Rabbits

·         5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. – Enter & Weigh all Market Sheep, Meat Goats & Swine

To minimize confusion, please have swine in pens by 5:00 p.m.

·         6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. – Enter & weigh all Market Beef

After weigh-in is completed, there will be a livestock Exhibitors meeting in the arena

Frontier Farm Credit will be serving a hot dog dinner to Exhibitors in the evening.

  

Tuesday July 30, 2024

·         8:30 a.m. Swine Show

Beachner Grain is providing donuts and drinks before the swine show.

·         9:00 a.m. – Open Class foods judging.

·         11:00 a.m. Rabbit Show-Livestock Arena

Show will start 15 minutes after the swine show it if is not completed by 11 a.m.

·         1:00 p.m. – Judging of remaining 4-H, open class Boy Scout and Girl Scout Exhibits

Community Building will close at 12:30 p.m. for judging and reopen at 3:00 p.m.

·         1:30 p.m. – Poultry Show- Rabbit/Poultry Barn

·         7:00 p.m. – Parade – Stadium

After Parade- Pedal Tractor Pull- North end of the stadium

·         8:00 p.m. – Fashion Revue and 4-H Awards presentation – Livestock Arena

·         6:00 p.m. – 10:00p.m. – Fun Services of KC

·         8:00 p.m. – Ranch Rodeo

 

Wednesday – July 31, 2024

·         9:00 a.m. – Meat Goat Show

·         4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. – Enter pies in the Community Building

·         5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. – Merchant Tent and Anderson County

·         6:00 p.m. – Sheep Show

·         6:00 p.m. – 10:00p.m. – Fun Services of KC

·         6:15 p.m. -  Judging of pies

·         6:30 p.m. – GSSB Kids Cash Grab

·         7:30 p.m. – Presentation of pie awards and pie auction – tent on ball field

·         8:00 p.m. – Open Mic night under the tent – following prize drawings

·         9:00 a.m. – Dairy Goat Show

·         9:30 a.m. – Dairy Cattle Show

·         10:30 a.m. – Livestock Judging Contest

·         1:00 p.m. – Pet Contest-livestock arena

·         6:00 p.m. Bucket Calf interviews and show

·         6:30 p.m. – Beef Show

·         9:00 a.m. – Round Robin Showmanship Contest

·         11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Release all 4-H and Open Class Exhibits

·         5:30 p.m. – Livestock Buyers Appreciation Supper- Community Building
